VENTRICULAR DYSPHONIA
Definition:
- * A musculoskeletal tension disorder in which the false cords, the ventricular bands,
   
adduct together over the true cords below.
Origin:
- * This voice disorder derives its name from the fact that voice is produced by vibration
   
of the false or ventricular folds rather than the true folds.
Etiology:
- * Etiology is unknown.
Symptoms:
- 1. Harsh
- 2. Hoarse
- 3. Low-pitch
- 4. Monotone
- 5. Diplophonic
- 6. Phonation during strangulation
