Catalog Description:

• An introduction to the areas of speech-language pathology and audiology. An integrap part of this course is observation of therapy with speech, language and hearing disorders.

Purpose:

• The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the development of human speech and language communication and of the sorts of communication disorders which can occur in individuals, as well as to introduce students to the professions of speech-language patholgy and audiology.
